We are committed to delivering our mandate for investment into the Australian electricity markets value chain across renewable generation, long/short duration storage, transmission, integrated decarbonisation projects and alternative clean fuels.
Transmission and Connection
EDF Australia is focused on the development, delivery, ownership and operation of complex transmission infrastructure including Renewable Energy Zones, large-scale interconnectors, offshore wind connections, and private networks to aid Australia increase the penetration of renewable energy to meet net zero targets.
Storage
Energy storage systems make a significant contribution to Australia’s energy transition by providing the system-level flexibility needed to integrate more renewable generation and future-proof our electricity system.
Renewables Energy Generation
The EDF Group owns and operates 39.5 GW of renewable energy capacity including: 16.3 GW of wind and solar.
Alternative Clean Energy
EDF Australia is committed to support Australia’s ambitions to produce alternative clean fuels as part of its broader strategy to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 by tapping on its know-how and experiences across the green hydrogen value chain.
Integrated Decarbonisation
EDF Australia is committed to driving sustainable change in the mining and industrial sectors as part of its broader strategy to decarbonise fossil-fuel-based loads, leveraging its expertise across renewable generation, storage, transmission, efficiency optimisation, and energy trading.
